Summer Military Camp - held every July

Calling all recruits!  All boys and girls (ages 6-13) are welcome to learn what life was like 150 years ago.  For over 10 years, The Carter House has provided a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for future historians.  The camp focuses on the lives of the men and women who were affected by the Civil War.  
 

Military Camp Times:

Friday, (July 13) - 9:30 am - 5:00 pm 
Saturday, (July 14) - noon - 7:00 pm

Cost is $75 per child for the Military Camp.  Each participant will receive a special keepsake gift when they graduate!  Space is always limited so please call 615-791-1861 to reserve your spot.

 Carter House Civilian Camp

Discover the excitement of being a young boy or girl in the 19th century.

Activities include:  candle-making, period crafts, etiquette,  tea time, period music and dancing and more.

Cost:  $ 75 per child

Ages 8 - 13 only.
